Tank Rehabilitation - Cryogenic Transport and Vessel Rehabilitation
Like many companies that transport cryogenic liquids, Pacific CA Systems, Inc. faces the challenge posed by a rapidly expanding demand for products and services. Meeting these expanding customer needs was becoming increasingly difficult with the relative shortage of new and serviceable used transports and vessels. Our commitment to customer service soon demanded a solution.

That solution was to create a rehabilitation facility so our transport and portable bulk storage fleet could grow through the acquisition of used transports and vessels in need of extensive work. With the 7,000 square foot expansion of our shop that includes new blasting and surface coating booths large enough to do the job, our facilities were now up to the task. As importantly, we added to our staff in numbers and expertise to ensure the job is done right and on a timely basis.
This solution was intended to address our fleet needs so we could better serve our customers. However, we found that the co-located paint and blast booths of this size are unique assets that are much in demand. We now have the capability to provide these rehabilitation services to other companies as well. We employ certified welders to ensure you have the safest equipment on our roads. Our maintenance technicians are highly experienced in electrical and pneumatic brake systems, and maintain the proper certifications required to service such systems.
These rehabilitation services include:
- Surface Preparation - We have the ability to customize blasting media to meet your standards and specifications.
- Surface Coating - We use the most advanced materials to ensure visual appeal as well as long-lasting protection from the elements you operate in on a daily basis.
- Decaling - Following all DOT regulations, your vessels will be marked accordingly to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and we can customize your company logo.
- Structural replacement of Upper Coupler and King-Pin assemblies, Running Gear and Framework.
- Suspension upgrades - Based on you requirements, we can make and old spring suspension new, or completely retrofit your transport with a Hendrickson air-ride suspension of your choice.
- Electrical and Pneumatic Brake System - Offering complete re-wiring and plumbing of air lines to ensure a long-lasting, maintenance-free service life of your transport.
- Cryogenic Pump Services - We employ trained technicians that are able to re-build your existing cryogenic liquid pumps to keep your transport operating to their fullest efficiency. If your pump is beyond our repair abilities, we can have your pump replaced same day from our inventory to ensure your transport has minimal down-time.
- Cryogenic Parts - Valves, Spring Relief's, Pressure Relief's, Check-Valves, Pressure Regulators, Oxygen Compatible gasket materials, and many more products are on our shelves, ready to install minimizing your down-time.
- Cryogenic Piping - Our fabricators are highly experienced and can retro-fit your transport or vessel in a timely manner using the materials and welding process that you specify.
Vessel Testing:
We offer Vacuum Jacket testing and repair using Helium Masspectrometers to ensure your vessel maintains the best insulation properties and minimal product losses due to heat-leak.
